The easiest way to tell is to look at one of your headlight bulbs to see the type of fitment. The most common sizes for headlight bulbs are:-
H1 (448) - This is a 1 pin bulb
H4 (472) - This is a 3 prong bulb and is a twin filament bulb which works both main beam and dipped
H7 (499) - This is a 2 pin bulb
When changing headlights bulbs remember not to touch the actual glass bulb at any time.
