When you replace your original steering wheel with an aftermarket steering wheel, you will need to install a steering wheel hub kit. This is the part which will fit between your steering column and the new aftermarket steering wheel. The boss hub kit is dependant on your particular vehicle as it will fit onto your vehicle’s steering column. Most boss hub kits have standard 6 screw holes which will mean that most branded standard steering wheels (with six screw holes) will fit.
Please note that the replacement of the steering wheel on cars equipped with airbag systems will disable all airbags fitted in the car. For cars equipped with airbag systems, replacement of the steering wheel is intended for racing use only.
We advise that customers use the services of a professionally trained technician to install hub kits and steering wheels. We do not advise customers to install them themselves unless they have been properly trained in the installation and maintenance of car steering wheels.
